Note, Shareview currently requires that our professional services make the configuration changes to enable shareview functionality.

CAS Content Integrity Checker

Look inside your Content Addressed Storage Array, (either Caringo CAStor, or EMC Centera) and validate that the data that should be there is there, is readable, and is valid.

  • Validate:
    • A single object
    • A list of objects (usually all of the objects in a list provided by an application)
    • All objects in the array. (Centera only, as CAStor has no ability to report what is stored inside - only the application knows.)
    • Of course all metadata is validated, along with the content object.
  • Report
    • Summary reports on total number of objects, amount of unique data stored etc.
    • Detail reports on all objects that are unreadable, or do not validate against independent inspection.
  • Standard SQL Access
    • Access to all of the data is available by any industry standard SQL reporting tools.
